A new dog???

Dec. 21st we took in some foster dogs. Sunshine has become more outgoing almost daily while the foster dogs are here. Tonight I was able to go out into the yard and call him through the garage door with minimal herding. I was amazed!

Sunshine can now come through the back deck door with my just calling him in. Previously I had to herd him for this door also. In addition he is much more outgoing and will come up to us for pats in the house much more frequently. We are very happy with his response to the foster dogs. He likes one in particular, Robin. He loves playing with Robin. The other foster dog scares him but something about the chemicals going through his brain with the combination of these two dogs in the house has been very helpful for him. I hope the behaviors stay after the fosters get adopted!
