Great success!

I'm happy to report that the experience with the foster dogs was a great success for Sunshine. Something about having them around rewired his brain and he is much less fearful or it could be described that he is much more outgoing. He does not come in the dog door but will come in our back deck door without any herding from us. This is a major improvement.

It turns out that Sunshine likes Country Western Dancing. I discovered this during the freezing cold weather we have had here. I put a teaching DVD on and was trying to get a bit of movement myself when I found he was fascinated. Since Sunshine has bad elbows we haven't been doing any agility training with him. Now I have started him on some doggy dance moves. He is great at sitting on his hind legs and waving his paws in the air. He also can stand on his hind legs and wave his paws in the air. I'm still working on different hand signals for these two. He is working on spins. I'm rewarding spins but he is only doing them to move away from me right now.

Blossom is also getting some dance training. She is doing spins and weaving through my legs. Were working on a good shake.
